Gossip Girl

Today I went to the Roost for my customary afternoon coffee break, and I happened to met Bella there.
As usual, she was full of gossip.
Brewster was flattering as always.
And silly Chow lost his key and I had to drag the river to find it.
It took me forever today. I got so many fish before I reeled-in the key!
The fisheries service is going to be after me.

Frosty the Snowhead

Oh yeah it's DLC time! :)
Pete came this morning and gave me a Snowman head. Hehehe!
Thanks Pete!
Apparently this is a repeat from a year ago. Hmm. Didn't know that. I would be ticked if this was the second snowman head I got. But since it's not... I am wearing it everywhere!
DLCs + Time Travelers = Good times.
Oh and we also had a visit from Pascal. Hiiiiiiii Pascal.
He's weird. (Says the girl with the snowman head and star shades...)
I love to watch him float down the river. Ever time I hope he'll start singing "Bare Necessities". Every time he doesn't. Ah well. Maybe they'll fix that in the DS3 version. ;)

Resseti & Pansies

Yesterday I was pleased to find that I had gotten my very first hybrid flower in Êleduin!

Orange pansies.
I picked it and wore it in my hair for the rest of the day. :)

When I went into the Roost that afternoon, I noticed we had a surprise guest.
Don Resseti.
I have never met Don before, (thankfully) so it was fun to chat with him. He was really enjoying his coffee break.

He didn't mention my flower though.

Practical Time Travel 101

Well I went away for a week. Again.
This got me thinking. The normal response when you have to set aside your animal crossing for a few days is usually panic. ("Oh man I bet my hybrid flowers all died." "My turnips are going to be rotten." "I hope Filbert didn't move out!" "I missed the mushroom festival-- AGAIN!") Must this be the case? "No!" I say. The alternative to all of this worrying is plain and simple. Time travel.
I'm hear to tell you, there ain't nothing wrong with a little time travel.
No there isn't.
Let us take a little spin in my TARDIS and I'll explain.
Now for some people, myself included, finding time to play Animal Crossing every day is rather difficult. I fix this problem by time traveling back to the day I last played and picking up from there.
First, find the day you last played on. This is easier said than done most of the time. I like to go into my Wii calender and look for a message that says how much animal crossing I played that day. Then I go looking for the last time that message appears, and hurrah! There is the last day I played.
Next, I log onto Animal crossing, and before I head into the game I talk to Rover and click on "Other things" then "set time/date". Then you simply set the date to one day AFTER you last played. Not the day itself mind you.
To help keep on track with the time travel and not forget where you are if you have to set your town aside for a long time, I like to print out a outlook calender and check off the days that I have played. Simple! Now I'll never get confused, unless I forget to check it off... well... I'd cross that bridge when I come to it.

Unfortunately there are some side effects of time travel. Joan will not sell you any red turnips for a while, and Nook's turnip prices tend to plummet. (Also I think that Phineas the prize man shuns the city. But don't quote me on that.) But hey, which price would you rather pay? Me, I'll go without turnips for a few weeks, I'm happy to have my neighbors and flowers and be weed-free!

Shoe fly, don't bother me

Lately, on my customary trips to the city, there has been a hot topic for conservation.
The shoes of residents of Êleduin.

Yeah, you guys need a new hobby. Staring at peoples shoes is starting to get really weird.

She likes bubbles (tea)

I love bubble tea. I mean, who doesn't love a drink you can chew?
Anyways, Mallary gave me a craving for bubble tea when she mentioned it the other day.
"Since when have you ever shared bubble tea with me? Huh? You can't just say things like that Mallary and expect it to go unnoticed. I think you should go get me some bubble tea right now. Right? ...Yeah, didn't think so..."

Graice

When I made my customary visit to the city today, I had a little surprise.
Gracie graced us with her presence at her shop today.
She then evaluated my style.
I got a passing grade! But she reminded me there was always room for improvement. Thanks Gracie. :I
But then she gave me a %10 discount on everything in the store! Sweeeeeeeet. So I spent way more than I was intending to. Um... What just happened? Did Gracie just...? Nah.

Catch a falling star

Last night was the meteor shower.
It was really lovely and serene.

The last picture inspired me to make a new banner for the blog. I hope you all like it!

Vacation

I'm baaaaaaack.
School has been really, really crazy. But now I'm on break and guess where I'm spending my vacation?
That's right! On my sofa! Wheeeeee!
I time traveled back to where I left of in Êleduin. May 2nd. (Anyone confused yet? I know I am.)
We here are again. It's still spring in Êleduin, and the animals and I are chillin'.
Oh and by the way, I am looking fabulous in my new Gracie outfit.
Alright then, let's get started! :)
